show/concert

last night was the show i've been talking about for a while now. it was great. we had front row seats and we were under the roof, so we didn't get rained on like those poor unfortunate souls that sat on the grass around the ampitheatre.

me: 'i'm glad we got tickets for under the roof so we don't have to sit in the rain.'

him: 'i'd sit in the rain to see these guys perform...it would be worth it.'

you see, there's a difference in a 'show' and a 'concert'. a show is where you don't pay TOO much money and you aren't in a huge crowd. a concert is where tickets are overpriced, you probably don't have great seats and most likely are in the nosebleed section and it's crowded. but it's all worth it. there's not too much that's better than a good show or a good concert. my goal in life is to see as many concerts as my dad has. i've been alive almost 19 years and i've not even made a good dent in it. and it's not because i haven't been to my fair share of shows, either. i constantly drool over his concert tickets. he's seen [to name a few]: led zeppelin, elo, jethro tull, joe walsh, elton john, the eagles, eric clapton, bob dylan, and yes. and like i said, that's only a FEW. jeez.

all it's been doing for the past couple of days is raining. so i've been in the best mood. i wish it would rain every day.

the boredom of this entry is over.

i appologize for any inconvineince.
