when you're sick, people are nicer to you. they're sympathetic. they ask if you're okay. they do you favors and give you caring looks.

my fish fear for their lives. sid vicious and moe rocca were swimming in about a half an inch of water when i woke up this morning. practically flopping on the pond floor. our pond seems to have a hole in it. so i am on pond patrol today, making sure my fish don't die. they probably will. as you may know, i haven't had the best of luck with fish. my dad said we should just drain the pond, put the fish in the bird bath and let that be the end of it, but i'm kinda partial to sid and moe.
