i wish hindsight was considered a superpower. that way when somebody said "hey if you could have a superpower, what would you choose?" i'd pick hindsight. i mean, that way i could know things ahead of time. know not to do something. know to do something.

it would've gone like this instead:

"so hey, what're you doing this weekend?"

"well, i'm doing lots of things this weekend, none of it having to do with you. because i know that in two years, you're gonna leave me for jabba the hut and break my heart. so run along now."

that's the mighty power of hindsight.

it's been almost five months and it still hurts like whoa.
